Great expectations—met

7 Sep

Had a great time with the special visitor!  It wasn’t even the slightest bit weird to have my online never before seen in the flesh friend in my home in the flesh, which, really, is exactly what I had expected.  Those really are the best kind of friends—the ones who just fit so naturally and effortlessly and seem to have been there all along.

Ditto. Agreed. I concur. You are a genius.

I felt seamless, too. All my seams floated away and hubby even commented on my lack of seams… 😉

Can’t wait to see you again! And thank you for the hospitality; hopefully I can return the favor one day. (ha! I almost typed “flavor” one day.)

Ummm…I am an idiot. You said “effortless” and not “seamless” and so my comment now looks dumb. So insert “effortless ” instead of “seamless” and then it will make sense. Sort of. Except for this explanation which then takes away any hope of sense I could have expected to be given from the intelligent people who frequent this blog.

Man. I need a nap already!

No worries, Alison. If I don’t meet your expectations, then you can always take me off the reader. I will never know. 😉

You know, one of these days I’m going to meet all the rest of you guys, too! You can take that as a promise or a threat. Just don’t tell me which one. I prefer to stay safely coccooned in my own ignorance.
