Piggies and hobos and gnomes, oh my!

3 Nov

As promised, Bythelbs’ children in all their Halloween glory:

BigHugs liked to draw special attention to her curly tail with a little booty-shakin’.

Goose loved how her hobo Cinderella turned out.  Here’s a closer look at the mice:

DynaGirl got a lot of compliments on her hobo.  When she went trick-or-treating, one guy said it was the best costume he’d seen all night.

Mr. T decided he didn’t want to be a hobo bro, so he went with this instead (entirely his vision):

When he first said he wanted to be a garden gnome, I wasn’t so sure we could pull it off.  But I think we did OK.  Ever the goofball, he can’t help but strike a pose in front of the camera.

Another Halloween come and gone.  It was good.  How was yours?

Those are all awesome! And the hobo is the best costume I’ve seen. I might have to steal that for next year!

Your costumes turned out so cool. Again with the Mr. T. He is really funny! Where on earth did he come up with “garden gnome?” So great. And Goose looks just like hobo Cinderella. You are super mom!

And I’m so glad we’re both such clever little smarties with our post titles. I sure like you.

See, and to me, I think he’s the Travelocity Gnome. Man, I love The Amazing Race!

Good pictures. Maybe I should put mine up? Maybe…

Yes, Cheryl! My thought, too! I immediately thought, “Travelocity!” I’m not liking this season’s teams that much (kind of dull), but oh how we LOVE Phil and the Amazing Race!!

    Great pictures, lbs. Adorable kids!!

Hobo Cinderella turned out awesome! Did you do those mice? They are so adorable!
Big Hugs makes a sweet little piggy.
    I love DynaGirl’s sign.
Mr. T is such a ham. I think he gets it from you.

The sign really makes the costume. And how cute is tha little Cinderella?! SO cute!

  11. madhousewife November 3, 2008 at 1:40 pm #

    Those costumes are the best.

Susan—I dunno, you still haven’t done the nudists on strike. I’d like to see some “Nude isn’t crude!” signage.

Julie—I honestly have no idea where he gets this stuff. If I knew how to upload video on here I would totally show you his gnome dancing. Hilarious. Oh, and right back atcha, lady!

    Mother—Wow, thanks!

Cheryl—I didn’t realize the Amazing Race was on right now. I’ve seen a couple of seasons. Mostly I just get frustrated and start yelling at the people when they do stupid stuff.

Boquinha—Thanks! I also like the Amazing Race host. He’s got a cool voice.

Woob—Watch your language! Don’t be bringin’ my blog down with your potty mouth! 😉

foofer—I did make those mice, and I’m very proud of myself. I found some Cinderella coloring pages off the internet to make patterns from. I had to make some adjustments to Jacques, but they turned out really cute, I think. Goose wanted me to make a bird, too, but I just didn’t have it in me.

Alison—Agreed. The sign does make the costume. I was worried for a moment that it might come off as insensitive, but then I decided I didn’t really care.

mad—I need to see pics of your kiddos. I don’t even remember what they were going as. Who was Slipknot this year? 😉

You made those mice? What in the? You are a closet crafter, aren’t you? Admit it.

Don’t make me go all Q-bert on you.
