Take 5-O! O! Oh!

28 Sep

Once upon a time, Madhousewife introduced me to a little piece of heaven.

Chocolate. Pretzels. Caramel. Peanuts. Peanut Butter.

The only thing that could make it more enjoyable is if Alex O’Loughlin personally unwrapped it for me.

(There are better pictures of Mr. O’Laughlin, but none that lend themselves quite so nicely to a fistful of sweet and salty goodness.)

What’s your favorite treat?  Edible or otherwise.

I can never seem to find Take 5 bars anymore. 😦

Anything with chocolate and peanut butter is good enough for me.

Okay, I never knew who this guy was till I watched the Back-up Plan with him and J Lo. He is hot! And charming in a non-traditional way. I haven’t gotten into Hawaii 5-0, simply because I have so many stinking shows I’m already addicted to. BUT, I’d like to fit that one in because 1-He’s hot. 2-It’s in Hawaii nad I like that a lot. A lot a lot.

I’ve never had a Take 5 bar, but it sounds right up my alley. Hmmm, I’m craving a Twix bar all of a sudden….

I’ll take a cookie dough blizzard or peanut butter m&ms. MMMMmmmm. I’ve never had a Take 5. And, for the matter, I probably never will. No point in ruining caramel, peanut butter and chocolate with nuts.

Well now my favorite treat is imagining who I want to unwrap my favorite treat! It would be nice if Ralph Fiennes made chocolate chip cookie dough and we ate it out of the bowl together. Or Jonathan Rhys Meyers could present me with a dark chocolate milky way bar.

Mmmm. Ralph Fiennes and chocolate chip cookie dough…

Candy bar: peanut butter twix — bite off both ends and use it as a straw to drink milk. Then it just melts in your mouth when you eat it.

Treat: surprise cupcakes — chocolate cupcakes with a chocolate chip cookie baked in the middle. Yum!

Tawnya—Slllllooowwwwwly? Are you trying to dirty up my innocent little candy bar fantasy?

Mad—I know! They’re very hard to find! Our local Target has the fun size bags right now in the Halloween candy aisle. I’m stocking up.

    Flip—Always a winning combination.

Julie—I’ve watched the first two episodes of Hawaii 5-O and it’s not bad. Mr. O is quite enjoyable, of course, but Scott Caan is a scene-stealer, I think–very funny. I’m hoping Daniel Dae Kim gets to play a bigger role in upcoming episodes–he hasn’t done much so far. The only problem with this show is that it takes place in Hawaii, so I’m afraid that if my husband watches it with me he’s going to spend the entire time pointing out all of the places he knows (since he lived there), just like he did when we were watching Lost. Every. Episode. Which was totally endearing and not at all annoying. Ahem. (Love you, Sweetie!)

Amanda—Oh, you’re one of those anti-nutters. I can respect that. I don’t understand it, but I can respect it.

Patience—I think you’re better at this treat fantasy than I am.

Foo—Next time you’re here, I think you should whip up a batch of surprise cupcakes. Pleeeease.

I could not take Lost seriously because I recognized all the places too. It just didn’t make it quite so mysterious.

Now, now. Would I EVER dirty up anything of yours? Oh, wait. Don’t answer that…

I’m a fan of the take 5. But I also like a twix or even the occasional Hershey’s bar, with almonds of course because what’s the point without them? (Hershey’s chocolate just isn’t that good on its own.)

    Not at ALL annoying. 🙂
